Data Retention

Information removed from active systems may remain for a limited period in secure backup or archival systems until those backups are overwritten or securely deleted in accordance with our backup and retention procedures. Data Deletion and Account Deletion Requests

Users may request deletion of their Wellnessmetric account and the personal information associated with that account. To submit a request, email info@wellnessmetric.net with “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line. Please include your name and the email address associated with your Wellnessmetric account, together with any other information reasonably necessary for us to identify the account. For privacy and security, we may need to verify your identity before completing a deletion request.

After receiving and verifying a valid deletion request, Wellnessmetric will delete or de-identify the account and personal information associated with that account, except for information that we are required or permitted to retain for legitimate purposes such as legal or regulatory compliance, healthcare record-retention obligations, security, fraud prevention, billing or accounting obligations, dispute resolution, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. If your Wellnessmetric account or health information is provided through or managed by a healthcare provider, medical institution, or other organization, that organization may be the controller or legal custodian of some of your information.
